Obama Thanks BatKid

THe Make-A-Wish foundation has recently made a 5 year olds dream come true. He wanted to be batman so they made it happen. The foundation set up crimes for him to solve and it got notoriety from the President. He made a Vine that said " Way to go Miles way to save Gotham." This story has also touched me just by the pure heart-warming effect the young boys story has. It also show great good in the make-a-wish foundation has to go the extra mile to make this little boys dreams come true.

Northwesterns Uniform for Veterans Day Offensive?

Northwestern has made speical uniforms for veterans day which i believe is a great honor. Some people think that it's offensive however. They see the gloves and think that the possibility of the flag on there is covered in blood. This outrage does make sense because these uniforms are to help the Wounded Warrior Project. I think that people may blow be blowing this out of proportion and it could just represent the hardships America and the Veterans have faced not bashing them for the fact that they are wounded.

142 Million Dollar painting

Francis Bacon painted this painting. Which is not very outstanding to me but to some it is worth a lot of money. This is however considered one of Bacon's most iconic peices of work. Either way to me a painting is not worth 142 million or 142 dollars for that matter. The auction this was in also grossed a wopping 621 Million dollars
